Fermentation in oak barrels

Produced from the great mountainous Monemvassia, the local white variety from the area of Lefkes, Thapsana and Stavros.
Meticulously selected and harvested between 22 – 25th August from well tendered, low yield (7000 kg/hectare) vineyards of the Moraitis Winery Producer Group. The fermentation and the mellowing in oak barrels for 5 months give this wine a unique character.

– Bright yellow colour with golden reflections.
– Flowery and citrus aromas of Monemvassia along with pleasant notes of smoked vanilla and oak on the background.
– Harmonious and oily, with a full body and a long lasting aromatic aftertaste.
– Can be cellared for 3 – 4 years.

Accompanies: Fatty fish, smoked cheese, poultry and pork
with white sauce.
Served: At 10 – 12 °C.
